Our collection of wildlife photography safaris in Sri Lanka have been developed to offer outstanding wildlife and cultural experiences, awesome photography opportunities and award-winning support from our team.
Although a relatively small country, Sri Lanka has the highest biodiversity density in all of Asia. Lying within the Indomalaya ecozone, the country is one of top 25 biodiversity hotspots left on planet earth.
Remarkably 22% of all of Sri Lanka mammal species and 27% of it’s flora are endemic to the Island. Sri Lanka holds 24 wildlife reserves and national parks. These reserves home a huge range of native species such as Asian elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and the unique small loris.
These are joined by a variety of deer, the purple-faced langur, the endangered wild boar, porcupines and Indian pangolins and 1000’s of bird species.
